Middle East Film & Comic Con 2015

April 10, 2015

Our day trip to Dubai was quite jampacked. It was Mam Elma's birthday. The night before, we had dinner at Aloft, watched the midnight roll of Furious 7 and headed to my place for the surprise birthday salubong at 3 freaking AM! Haha! Yes, galit kami sa tulog! It's weekend anyway. Hihi.

Before we left Abu Dhabi, Hashen and Mam Elma went to hear the Holy Mass. We left Abu Dhabi before noon and reached Dubai at around 1pm; had lunch at Seafood in a Bucket and finally headed to World Trade Center for the 2nd day of MEFCC. After failing miserably to enter the parking area of WTC, we were blessed with a good parking just right across Sheikh Zayed Road, near the WTC metro station.

Glad that my sister and BIL agreed to let me bring Miel to the event. She really enjoyed everything. In fact she was taking a video and narrating what we're doing and seeing as we're walking around the hall. She can actually be the youngest veejay in the world. Haha. She was able to buy an artwork of a baby Groot. Oh so cute!!! Unfortunately, I don't have photo of it.

MEFCC??? Game!

The "butt" mobile.

Some of the cosplayers that day.

Mam Elma and Alquin posing with some of the cosplayers. Hashen, being the camera man, did not get the chance to have a picture with them. I, on the other hand, was busy looking out for my niece.

Found a lot of Filipino artists showcasing their talent. Here is one of them, Mr. Romer Quindara.

Drooling over the collection of limited edition Gibson guitars. Ugh!

I'm incredibly missing the Philippines when it comes to events like this one. Magagaling talaga ang mga cosplayers ng Pilipinas! Nevertheless, thanks MEFCC for putting up such a fun and entertaining event! Til next year!
