Pa & Ma's Dubai-Abu Dhabi visit

My parents flew in last April 3. They're really enjoying taking care of their grand-kids, especially the new addition to our family, Gab. We've also been visiting places that haven't been around during our first visit to UAE in 2009 (or places that were already here but never had the chance to visit). So far we've brought them to:

DUBAI, first two weeks

City Walk, Dubai

Miracle Garden, Dubai

Food tripping at Rosa Mexicano, Dubai Mall

Boulevard Bus Tour around Downtown Dubai

Wafi Mall, after Miel's piano class

Dubai Festival City

Teppanyaki night at Icho Restaurant, Radisson Royal Hotel

Emirates Towers with my sister and baby Gab

ABU DHABI for one week

Jebel Hafeet, Al Ain

Mercure Grand Hotel, Jebel Hafeet

Yas Marina Circuit. I had my father try the Kartzone. He said he got dizzy but he totally enjoyed it. Hehe.

Masdar City, the futuristic carbon-free city

Ferrari World (ooh, all the pogi cars plus the almighty V12 engine #drool). We didn't even attempt to try Formula Rossa, the world's fastest roller coaster. Thanks, but no thanks! Haha.

Dinner at Tiara, revolving restaurant atop Burj Marina

Picnic at Salam St., with Coach Roel. We were supposed to go fishing but we had some technical problems with my father's fishing rod so we just settled for a nice evening picnic.

Back to Dubai for the 4th and final week in UAE

For my last layas with them, we went to At the Top, Burj Khalifa where we reached the 124th floor of the tallest building in the world. Burj Khalifa has 163 floors but their observation deck is at the 124th only, still the highest viewing deck in the world.

My parents will return home on the 30th. I'm sure my brothers missed them a lot. Hihi.

Ila lika, father and mother!
