10th International Congress of the Asian Confederation of Physical Therapy

August 30 & 31, 2008
Makuhari Messe, Chiba Japan

08.30.31 - In behalf of my co-authors (Sir D1, Jaegs, Tel, Jaims), I presented our thesis entitled Underlying Dimensions of Utilization of e-Learning among UST Physical Therapy Students, AY 2006-2007 sa first day of Oral Presentaion for ACPT.

Kinakabahan talaga ako dahil: more than the allowed time (7mins) yung presentation ko, natatakot ako na baka di ko masagot ang mga tanong nila for the Q & A portion, 3 hours lang ang tulog ko the night before, dapat doble effort na maintindihan ng audience ang sasabihin ko dahil na rin sa language barrier ng iba't ibang nasyon, dahil akala ko na pangalawa ako sa magppresent (4:30pm pala together with other topics regarding educaion) at dahil nakakakaba lang talaga... But everything went well. Salamat kay Lord... at kay Jaegs na napuyat pa sa kakapractice namin the night before, at syempre sa mga kasama ko ngayon dito... Whew! Tapos na.. Bukas si Sir Donald naman...

We attended the reception for the participants (dinner time). Ok ang Jap food ah! And they served a lot of drinks!... KAMPAY!!!

It was a very fun night. We met a lot of physiotherapists from all over Asia.

Btw, after my thesis presentation, a Jap girl approached me and asked if I am from the Phils. Her name is Makiko and she said that probably next month, she'll be coming to Mabalakat in Pampanga for a study about diabetes (requirement in her masteral program). She's 28 but she looks like a highschool student, I even look older than her.. I was with her the whole reception night and she was kind enough to translate Nihonggo to English whenever Japanese people approach us. She speaks english very well. :) At gusto pa nya ako mag-scout for Jap guys, hahaha, e sabi ko mahirap na, nosebleed ako, di ako marunong magNihonggo. She said, "don't worry I'll translate for you". Hahaha!

Okay time to go home (8pm) and get ready for another day tomorrow.

08.31.08 - Happy birthday Sir Donald. Hehehe..

Had lunch with Koji (Jap PT professor) and Mikako. Yum Yum...

We decided not to attend the last part of the conference since we really wanted to go to Roppongi. But before that, we toured around Makuhari Messe first. Then at 5pm, on we go to Roppongi. (I'll just publish our pictures in Roppongi pag may time na...)
